As valued members of our The Grinning Dog family, we're excited to extend a special invitation to you for our upcoming Open House events. This event is just for you - our existing clients!
Mark your calendars for Saturday October 19 & Sunday October 20, 2024, as we'll be opening our doors to give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our unique facility, including our outdoor play yards, cozy boarding accommodations, and our sprawling 20-acre nature park.

Can I bring my dog?
Please note that, in the interest of safety, this is a humans-only event. While we love having our canine guests with us during their daycare or boarding stays, we understand that they may not always show the same enthusiasm when it comes to sharing their owners with each other. Therefore, we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home for this particular event.
Kids welcome?
Children are welcome, but do be aware that we will have some dogs staying with us who aren’t comfortable with kids, so please be sure to keep little hands out of the kennels.
What to Wear?
We will be outdoors most of the time, so dress accordingly! Expect some mud, some bugs and lots of uneven ground.

I hereby acknowledge that I am participating in the Open House event hosted by The Grinning Dog on October 19 & 20, 2024. By scheduling this visit, I am confirming my agreement to the following liability Waiver:
I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with visiting a dog daycare and boarding facility, including but not limited to the risk of injury or property damage. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my visit.
- Release of Liability: I hereby release and discharge The Grinning Dog, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during my visit to the facility, including but not limited to injuries to myself, my guests, or my pets.
- Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Grinning Dog, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or related to my participation in the Open House event.
- Compliance with Rules and Regulations: I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by The Grinning Dog staff during my visit to the facility.

Where we are...

Just as a reminder - because we generally take clients by referral only, we have limited signage on the street. Coming about a 1/2 mile down from RT. 66, we are on the left. We have two driveways - one of them is the wrong one! We have a black, numbered mailbox on a stone pillar at the base of our private family driveway (the wrong one) and about 100 yards further south you'll see a small sign that says Paradox on one tree and another that say The Grinning Dog at the base of the public kennel driveway (the right one!). You won’t see the place from the road. Call 413 348-6688 if you get lost.
