Kasper joined The Grinning Dog in summer 2026, bringing with him over 10 years of hands-on experience working with dogs in the daycare and boarding setting. Their steady energy, dry humor, dependable work ethic, and near-photographic memory for new doggy faces (seriously, a quick study!) make them a great addition to the team. His warmth and enjoyment of dogs is palpable. We are delighted to welcome them to the Grinning Dog!
"I’ve always been drawn to creatures of all types. Owning some insects, reptiles, dogs, cats, rats, and fish as pets started my craze. I then moved on to pet sitting quite young before finding my way into daycare and boarding work with dogs! I’ve worked in daycare and boarding settings for over a decade.
When I’m not at work you can find me engulfed in gaming, doing some kind of art project, or oddity project with my retired multipurpose service dog, an APBT named Monkey and newest service dog prospect, a Standard Poodle named Kaiman."
